Oppossum ACEO
Did you know, that I one time raised an orphan oppossum? I named her Ophelia. She was frightfully sweet. Loved to eat bananas, of all things. This is an ACEO sized painting I did of her this week. It is in my Etsy store.

You don't say!
The theme last week, seems to have been the idea of unspoken words.
These are the images that unfurled themselves. Titles are: Don't Bug Me, Yes- I said NO, and What? These are all Art Cards-2.5 x 3.5 inches. They are in my Etsy shop if you want to see them more closely.

I am pleased to introduce this little spud!
Potato? Pah-Tato? The word is the bird: Potatobird!
An Etsy Artist, who creates Artwork using elements of stitchery, textile, transferred images, transparencies, dressmakers tissue. Her item descriptions are worth investigating, just for the joy of reading the humorous stories with each piece, and to get a glimpse of Potatobirds wit and fiestiness!
I was especially glee filled to have an ACEO created especially for me, based on a vintage saucy image, which you can see by clicking (here)
Please take a peek!

Wonderful World of Miniatures
Today I visited a Miniature Art and Collectible Show at the Radisson Hotel in Culver City, California. I was able to meet a fellow Etsy Artist; Tessimal. She creates fairies and fairy homes made from mushrooms and woodbark. I found her tiny stuffed cats most whimsical. Her Etsy store can be seen by (clicking here)
And speaking of Miniatures, I listed two new Skelly head beads today to my Etsy store. Y'arrrrrr! Pirates!

Celebrating Creative Spirits
I wanted to share the artwork of Collage Artist: Dadadreams. Otherwise known as Michelle Lanter of Texas. Her work combines imagery and wit that never ceases to amaze and amuse. Her work can be found at Etsy.com (search Dadadreams) and also on Ebay (search altered dada). Here are just a couple of my favorites. I especially like her "Domestic Goddess" series.
